In my classes at Portland Community College beginners and experienced painters alike enjoy working in a fun, supportive atmosphere. The emphasis is on color, composition, and developing personal style. A supply list is given at the first class.

Below is a list of the classes offered by me at PCC. Write down the CRNs of the classes that you want, then continue on to   Registration.

Here is the schedule for FALL TERM 2010:

Mondays I’ll be teaching Altered Books and Art Journals from 10 am to 12:30 pm in room 209 at PCC Willow Creek Center which is right on the Max line at the Willow Creek stop. CRN #47915 .  The class runs from Sept. 20 through Nov. 22.

Wednesday classes will be Watercolor Artist’s Group (although some of the regulars will be working on Journals and Altered Books & that’s fine) from noon to 2:30 in the Art Studio in room 133 at PCC SE Center, located at SE Division and 82nd.  First class is Sept. 22 and it will go until Nov. 24.  CRN #42474

Thursday will find me back at PCC Willow Creek , room 209 for Acrylic Artist’s Group, which will meet from 11:30 am to 2 pm and will run from Sept. 23 through Dec 9, with no class on Nov. 25. CRN #44088

Friday is the day for PCC SE Center Acrylic Artist’s Group, from noon to 2:30 in room 133, beginning Sept. 24 and ending Dec. 3, with no class on Nov. 26. CRN #41894.

These classes are called Artist’s Groups because that’s what I’m building. Come join the regulars of all ages, experience-levels and backgrounds to learn from, teach and support each other. There are assignments at every class, but some come with their own projects and that’s fine with me.  Surround yourself with giving, creative people every week and you’ll be happier.

Keep creating!
